Field Memory

Keep a useful record of what you saw, measured and completed on site. Field Memory brings field photos, measurements, sketches and notes together by project and work day. Use it for site visits, surveys, inspections, construction work or your own outdoor projects. TAKE PHOTOS FIRST Capture several details in a row, then assign the photos to an existing project or create a new one. Large controls and quick access to the camera help you record the details while you are working. DRAW AND ADD MEASUREMENTS Draw a sketch with a pen, straight lines, rectangles and text. Open the editor full screen for more room. Reopen a saved sketch to add a forgotten measurement or erase and redraw part of the image. KEEP EACH FIELD DAY TOGETHER Organize photos, notes and sketches by project and field day. Add categories, search your records and browse photos by swiping. Zoom in to inspect a detail. OPTIONAL GPS Enable GPS to record available coordinates with new photos. Keep photographing while the phone searches for a location. Photos are saved without coordinates when a location is unavailable. There is no background tracking. WORK OFFLINE Your journal is stored on your phone. No account is required, there are no ads and the app does not automatically sync your projects to a cloud service. BACK UP AND SHARE PROJECTS Export a complete project as a ZIP and save it outside the app. Another Field Memory user can import that ZIP as an independent, editable project with its photos, sketches, notes and GPS. Export individual field days as HTML reports for viewing in a browser or printing from a computer. Exports support up to 120 MB of original photos; a complete project export requires access to every photo. CHOOSE YOUR DISPLAY AND LANGUAGE Use the clear light display outdoors or choose dark mode for lower light. A short introduction and Help & tips explain the main tasks. Available in English, Croatian, German, Spanish and French. Project names and your own notes stay as you wrote them. New camera photos are saved to the phone Gallery when available, with private app storage as a fallback. You can also import selected photos. Keep a recent ZIP backup before uninstalling or changing phones. Gallery originals and exported copies are managed separately from app records; device backup services follow your phone settings.
