Walls, crowds and interference shorten it significantly. • Delivery is not guaranteed. A message only arrives if a chain of devices running Mesh Chat is close enough to carry it. • Every relaying device needs the app running for the chain to work. • Continuous scanning uses more battery than a normal messaging app. • Mesh Chat is not a replacement for emergency services.
