DugoutOps: Baseball & Softball

DugoutOps turns one phone in the dugout into your team's scoreboard, broadcast booth, and highlight reel. Built for youth baseball and softball coaches — travel ball and rec league alike — who are already doing three jobs at once. SCORE THE GAME, FAST Tap-to-score every pitch, or switch to one-tap outcome mode when the game is moving faster than you are. Drag runners to steal. The scoreboard updates live for everyone watching. It is scorekeeping one coach can run alone from the third-base box, without a laptop, a scorebook, or a second volunteer. PITCH COUNTS THAT PROTECT ARMS A live pitch count badge on your active pitcher, yellow and red warnings before you blow through a limit, and required rest days calculated for you. Little League, USSSA, and Perfect Game presets are built in. Across a tournament weekend the count follows the player, not the roster — if he throws for a travel team on Saturday and a rec team on Sunday, DugoutOps counts him once. An arm does not care which team it is on. PARENTS FOLLOW EVERY PITCH — FREE Parents get the live scoreboard, bases, count, and pitch-by-pitch feed in real time, from the stands or from three states away. That part is free, forever, for every follower. No family subscription to watch a youth baseball or softball game. STREAM AND REPLAY Go live straight from your phone. Games are recorded and replayable, so nobody misses the at-bat they drove four hours to see. HIGHLIGHTS WORTH SHARING Pull an instant clip of the play that just happened. Generate a game reel or a season recap. Send home a stat card that looks like it came from a broadcast. NEVER TYPE THE OTHER TEAM'S LINEUP AGAIN Point your camera at their lineup card. The app reads the batting order, jersey numbers, and positions, then hands you an editable list to confirm before anything commits. Or show the opposing coach a QR code — they scan it and their roster lands in your scoring screen in under ten seconds. BOTH TEAMS ON DUGOUTOPS? EVEN BETTER Link the game with the opposing coach and your rosters stay in sync live, both directions. When they make a substitution, it lands on your scoring screen as it happens — no re-scanning, no "wait, who's batting now?", no reconciling two scorebooks after the game. Either coach can unlink at any time. BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL RULES, DONE RIGHT Run rules, mercy rules, and softball DP/FLEX are handled by the app instead of by argument. RUN THE TEAM, NOT JUST THE GAME Schedule games, practices and tournament brackets with automatic reminders. Post announcements parents actually see. Collect RSVPs so you know who's showing up. Link guardians to their players so every family sees exactly what they should. STATS THAT FOLLOW THE PLAYER Season and career batting and pitching stats, updated as the game happens. Players keep their stats across seasons and across teams, so a kid who changes clubs does not start over at zero. VOICE SCORING Say "strike," "ball," "home run." The app parses it and asks you to confirm with one tap, so you can keep your eyes on the field. FREE AND PAID Live scoring, pitch counts, the QR roster import, and the parent live view are free. Team subscriptions unlock streaming, voice scoring, and reels. Parents can subscribe for their own downloads and clips, or buy a single play a la carte.
