Friendly faces. Unfriendly intentions. Welcome to Vecinos Odiosos, the card game where every neighbor has something to hide. Gather 2–6 people nearby, each with their own phone or tablet. Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, create a room, and let the building gossip begin. No internet connection is needed during the game, and you can even play without talking. Three cards. One decision. Eight secret identities, 176 illustrated cards, six rounds. Each round gives you three cards your character can use. Choose one to earn points, prank a neighbor, or protect yourself. Everyone chooses at the same time, then the cards are revealed together. The other two disappear unseen. Power comes with clues 160 fixed-clue cards show all eligible characters; 16 variable-clue cards show two portraits and two “?” that can hide characters not shown. A blocked effect still leaves a clue. Powerful cards can give you away. Will you keep your secret or take the points while you can? Your private notebook Record your suspicions and change your mind as new clues appear. After the sixth round, mark yourself ready when your notebook is complete. You can return to editing while anyone is still preparing. Once everyone is ready, the identities are revealed. At the end, each correct guess transfers points from that neighbor to you. Each neighbor who identifies you takes the same amount from you. The amount depends on the number of players and is shown in the app. Wrong guesses and empty slots carry no penalty. The highest total from cards and deductions wins, with shared victories for ties. A building full of character Meet eight mischievous neighbors with illustrations in an ink, pencil and gouache style. Practice needs neither another player nor nearby connection permissions. Playing with friends One person creates a room and the others join. Keep devices nearby, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled and nearby-device permissions granted. Android 12 and earlier also require location permission for device discovery. Nearby multiplayer requires Google Play services. No account is required. Your game and preferences are saved on your device. Player names and game actions are exchanged directly among nearby participants.
