Nitki: Cross Stitch Patterns

Nitki is a cross stitch pattern maker and tracker: it makes a pattern from your photo, opens patterns from other programs and designers' PDFs, and lets you stitch from any of them on your phone screen, marking what's done and seeing what's left. In English and Russian. Patterns from photos • Pick a photo and tap Create, and your cross stitch pattern is ready. Nitki finds the subject, a person or a pet, and frames it for you. • Colors are chosen so the pattern is easy to stitch: no lone crosses and no threads used for a couple of stitches. • Stitch the background in full crosses or half stitches, or leave it bare. • Size in stitches, centimeters or inches, on Aida of any count. Threads and beads of 22 brands • Make a pattern from a photo in DMC, Anchor, Madeira, Gamma, PNK Kirova, Bestex, Luca-S, Cosmo, Finca, Ariadna or Riolis wool, and switch the brand in one tap. CXC threads use DMC numbers. • For editing: metallic and shiny threads (Kreinik, DMC Light Effects and more), variegated threads and Mill Hill and Preciosa beads. • Supplies to buy: how many skeins, cards or packs you need, with a margin. Stitch from the screen • Mark stitches with a tap or a swipe; lines, knots and beads too. • Parking, sections, a 10 × 10 grid, rulers, large symbols. • Statistics: stitches per day, time spent, when you'll finish; goals. • The screen stays on while you stitch. Reminders only if you turn them on. Patterns from files • Opens OXS, Pattern Maker (.xsd), PCStitch (.pat) and Stitchly files. • Nitki reads a designer's PDF chart as a pattern when it can and tells you what it read; otherwise it opens the PDF's pages for you to mark up with a highlighter. • You choose the file yourself: the app never asks for access to all your files. Edit the pattern • Add text (a name, a date), paint and fill with a chosen thread, add backstitch, French knots and beads, swap a thread for another one, of any brand. Save and print • A PDF chart to print on A4, Letter or A3, in color or black and white, with large cells, a key and a thread list. The PDF also opens in Pattern Keeper. • An OXS file for other stitching programs, and a picture of how the finished embroidery will look. • Print straight from your phone. If you sell patterns, put your shop's name and logo on the pages. Stay organized • Folders, a trash that keeps patterns for 30 days, and a copy of a pattern with its marks for a new phone. Paying • Your first pattern is free and complete: the PDF and stitching from the screen. The examples and the lesson are free too. • After that, buy one new pattern at a time, or unlimited patterns forever in a single purchase. It's not a subscription: what you buy stays yours. • You can see the whole pattern, change it and see which threads to buy before you pay. No internet needed • Everything is worked out on your phone, fully offline. The app doesn't even have permission to use the internet: your photos and patterns go nowhere unless you send them yourself. No ads, no sign-up.
