Pops: Home & Auto Maintenance Live

Hey kiddo, it’s Pops! I noticed you just moved into a new place or picked up some new wheels, and I couldn't be prouder. But owning stuff means taking care of it, and let's be honest—it’s easy to forget when to change the air filters or check the tire pressure when you’ve got a busy life to lead! That’s exactly why I built this app. Think of me as that handy neighbor (or your actual dad) who taps you on the shoulder right before your gutters overflow or your engine oil turns into sludge. With the Pops app, you’ll never have to guess when a chore is due. I’ll keep an eye on the schedule so you don't have to! 🏠 Master Your Home Maintenance Don't know a soffit from a septum? Don't worry! Just tell me what kind of home you live in (House, Townhome, Condo, or Apartment) and I'll automatically generate a customized list of rooms and maintenance tasks just for you. • Track chores room-by-room (Kitchen, Bathrooms, Garage, Roof, etc.). • Get simple, step-by-step instructions for tasks like cleaning the dryer vent or flushing the water heater. • Tells you exactly what tools you need before you start so you don't make three trips to the garage. • Let’s be real, you don’t need an account for this. No sign-ups, no tracking. All your data lives right on your phone! 🚗 Keep Your Vehicles Running Smoothly Cars need love too! Add your vehicles to the app and I’ll help you keep them out of the mechanic's shop. • Track tasks by time (every 6 months) OR by mileage (every 5,000 miles). • Enter your current mileage when you complete a task, and I'll do the math for the next one. • From tire rotations to cabin air filters, we’ve got your garage covered. 🤝 Share the Load (Hostless Sharing!) Living with a partner or roommates? You shouldn't have to do all the chores yourself! • Generate a secure, private Share Link that sends your entire Home setup straight to their phone. • No cloud servers, no logins, no syncing delays. Just direct, device-to-device sharing. Hand them a virtual wrench and tell 'em to get to work! 🛠️ Notes, Hints, & Custom Tasks • Custom Tasks: Have a weird chore I didn't think of? You can create your own custom tasks and set your own intervals! • Video Guides: Tap the video-link button on a task and I'll immediately search YouTube for a tutorial to walk you through it. • Personal Notes: Did you figure out a trick to getting that one stubborn filter out? Write it in the task notes so you remember it six months from now! 🎉 Celebrate the Wins Look, scraping the gutters isn't fun. But when you check that box, you deserve a high-five. I’ll make sure to celebrate your hard work every time you knock a chore off the list. Taking care of your investments doesn't have to be overwhelming. You just need a system, and a little bit of fatherly advice. Download the app, and let's get to work! — Pops
