Vimo connects contributors with robotics and AI research teams. Capture everyday activities from a first-person perspective using your phone, and earn compensation for verified recordings. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick a project. Choose from available briefs covering household chores, workshop tasks, cooking, or object manipulation. 2. Mount your phone. Use a chest mount or approved harness so both hands and the work area remain in view. 3. Record synchronized data. Vimo captures 1080p video alongside high-frequency motion telemetry to record physical movement dynamics. 4. Background upload. Recordings upload automatically in the background once you finish your take. 5. Get paid for approved work. Submissions are reviewed against task criteria and duration limits. Track approval status and balances right in your activity tab. FEATURES - Clear task briefs with explicit tool, action, and framing instructions. - Native sensor logging calibrated for robotic imitation learning. - Activity ledger showing submission status, review outcomes, and earnings. REQUIREMENTS & TERMS - A chest harness or specified mount is mandatory for some tasks. - Only approved submissions earn compensation. Setup time, aborted takes, and uploads are unpaid. - Contributors must meet age requirements and reside in supported jurisdictions.
