power of the word

Power of the Word is a calm, elegant way to read and reflect on Bahá’í quotes.
Browse beautifully typeset passages, favorite what you love, search across the full collection, and keep a quote on your Home Screen widget. The app respects your device theme (Light/Dark), offers a gentle auto-rotation timer with a countdown, and lets you pause any time. Why this app? Reading a single, well-presented quote can shift the atmosphere of a day. Power of the Word focuses on clarity and reverence—no clutter, no distractions—just the Words. What’s inside Home * Randomized reading: See a beautifully laid-out quote with author attribution. * Auto-rotation with countdown: Choose 15s, 30s, 1m, or Off; the app advances like you tapped Next, so Back still works. * Pause/Resume: Stop rotation when you want to linger; resume any time. * Keep on widget: Pin the current quote to your widget (iOS & Android). * Share: Send a quote to friends with one tap. * Favorite: Save it instantly for later. Favorites * Your personal collection: All your hearts, neatly organized as cards. * One-tap actions: View, unfavorite, or share any saved quote. * Works fully offline: Favorites live on your device. Settings * Theme: System, Light, or Dark. The app follows your device by default. * Auto-rotation speed: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, or None. * Language (coming soon): Placeholder for future multilingual support. Widgets iOS Widget (Home Screen) * Shows the current quote in a dark, legible style. * Deep link: Tapping the widget opens the app to the exact same quote. * Pin current quote: From Home, tap Keep on widget to pin it for a while. Android Widget (Home Screen) * Displays a quote with the same typography and contrast. * Update support: The app can request updates so your widget stays fresh. * Deep link: Tap to open the app at the same quote. Tip: You control in-app rotation (and the countdown) from Settings.
