Lumev

Lumev turns your Android device into a light meter for analog photography. Go from measuring a scene to choosing the shutter speed and aperture on your film camera, whether you are loading your first roll or fine-tuning a familiar workflow. Measure the whole scene, choose center-weighted or spot metering, and take separate live, digitally zoomed readings of faces, shadows, highlights or other important areas. Each spot keeps its own reference image. Set the brightness you want for a point and see the scene's range instead of relying on one unexplained average. Create reusable presets for your camera, lens, film, working EI and optional optical filter. Lumev considers the shutter speeds and aperture settings you configure, focal length and filter light loss to suggest practical exposure pairs. Compare a balanced option with more depth of field or a faster shutter. A labeled chart and full table make the alternatives easy to inspect. Save readings with reference images, recommendations and the settings you actually used. After developing your film, rate the result. Lumev uses repeated, consistent feedback to make cautious adjustments for your equipment and preferences. Raw EV, creative intent, filter compensation and learned correction remain visible separately. Metering, presets and history work offline. Your saved photography data stays on your device.
