Short Game keeps one number: how many of your chips finish close enough to leave a tap-in. Everything else in the app exists to give you that number, per club and over time. TWO WAYS TO RECORD A SESSION Chips at the target. Chip, look where the ball stopped, and tap the green in that spot. Four zones — holed, within a foot, within three feet, further out. The clock runs itself from the first chip to the last, so nothing has to be typed in afterwards. Leap Frog. A chipping ladder: every ball has to stop farther than the one before it, and the first one sets the mark. One tap judges each chip while the app keeps score — how many in a row, and how today compares with your best run. Both land in the same history and count towards the same statistics. WHAT YOU GET BACK • Practice — your streak, this week against your goal, and accuracy over the last seven days. • Sessions — everything you recorded, drills and logged sessions alike, newest first. • Insights — days, weeks or months, your totals, and which club you can actually rely on. • A session you have saved opens as a spread map: where the balls finished, which side of the hole you keep missing on, and your zones against the average of earlier sessions. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO It does not analyse your swing, it does not judge your technique and there is no AI inside it. Take the swing to your coach, who can watch you live. Short Game takes the other half of the job: it keeps the numbers, so you can see whether what you practise actually works. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Free, no ads, nothing to buy inside. Sign in with an email address or with Google, and your sessions follow you to the next phone. Everything you record can be exported as a file, wiped while keeping the account, or deleted together with the account — all three inside the app, under Settings → Your data.
