FactLockCam: Evidence Camera Live

AI can rewrite a photo after an incident. FactLockCam takes the opposite approach: create the verifiable reference first. Capture a photo or video in FactLockCam. The app computes its SHA-256 fingerprint, places it in a signed capture manifest, and anchors the manifest hash in a public Polygon transaction. If someone later changes the file, the altered copy produces different bytes and fails the original fingerprint check. CHANGE THE FILE. BREAK THE MATCH. Every capture is fingerprinted at the moment you seal it. The fingerprint, capture time, and signing key class live in a signed capture record you can show to anyone. ANCHOR IT PUBLICLY BEFORE ANYONE DISPUTES IT. The signed record is anchored on Polygon, establishing that the exact file existed in that capture window — before the story changes. VERIFY IT YOURSELF. NOTHING UPLOADS. Send a password-protected .flcproof package to an adjuster, landlord, customer, journalist, or other recipient. They open it locally at factlockcam.com/open in their own browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no app install is required to check it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN. Sealed media stays in a local encrypted archive on your device. Only you hold the keys. Location shown in the capture HUD never leaves the device. BUILT FOR REAL INCIDENTS. Car accidents, property damage, insurance documentation, move-in and move-out condition records — capture the scene, add the context a recipient needs, and send one portable proof package. Verifies the exact file and signed record — not the physical truth of the scene. Each capture record discloses its device_key_class; hardware attestation is not claimed. Anchor the original before the story changes.
