Your Finds. Your Data. ThatsLog is a find documentation app for metal detectorists: free to use, no registration required, and no intrusive advertising. Your find data is stored locally on your device – without a central find database. Document your finds – with a photo or without using your phone In the field, you decide how you want to work: With a photo: With the integrated GPSCam, taking a single photo is enough. Time, GPS location and detecting session are recorded automatically. You can add the description, category, date and other details later. Without a photo – phone-free detecting: Simply leave your smartphone in your pocket for the entire detecting session. ThatsLog records your track and automatically detects search stops. After your session, select the relevant stops and create finds from them with a single tap. The time and GPS location are automatically assigned to each find. This lets you focus on detecting – without filling out forms or typing in the field. ThatsLog does not use a central find database to which your find data must be uploaded. Synchronize Your Devices If you use ThatsLog on multiple devices, you can synchronize your local data between them using your own Google Drive storage. Google Drive is used for controlled synchronization between your devices – your actual find database remains stored locally on your devices. Alternatively, ZIP migration allows you to transfer your data between devices completely offline. Important: Synchronization between devices is not a substitute for a backup. ThatsLog therefore also provides full backups of your data.
