The person you call does not need an app, an account, or even a smartphone — their phone simply rings, the way it always has. ONE RATE, AND NO SURPRISES AFTER THE FIRST MINUTE Every number in Iran, landline or mobile, is 50 US cents a minute. Calls have a one-minute minimum, and after that they are charged a second at a time — so a 90-second call costs 75 cents, not a full two minutes. Many calling apps round every call up to the next whole minute, for the whole call. We only do it once, at the start. There is no connection fee, no per-call surcharge and no monthly commitment. Calls that ring out, come back busy or fail to route are never charged. Your credit does not expire while your account is open.
