Full description
One thumb. Eight different games. Five hundred levels that change what you are doing, not just how fast you have to do it. Orbitone starts as a dot travelling round a loop. Tap to reverse, collect the rings, miss the triangles. Then, about a hundred levels in, the game changes — and it keeps changing, seven more times, all the way down. ── EIGHT VERBS, NOT EIGHT SKINS ── Every one of these is its own game with its own rule, its own input and its own way to lose: • Orbit — a loop, a dot, and a tap that reverses it • Ascent — flap upward through gates that will not wait • Corridor — a band that closes, and dots that mark the open side • Lattice — an aim sweeps a row of tiles; the tap commits to whichever it is on • Lane — four lanes, and traffic that decides which one you may be in • Radial — a spinning ring of nodes, launched at from the centre. Lead it • Drag — carry a disc through gaps in falling bars • Rhythm — tiles fall on a beat and the beat quickens with every one you take ── TWELVE SHAPES AND FIVE TRANSFORMS ── The loop is a circle, then an ellipse, a star, a figure eight, a gear, a wave, a crescent, a rose. Then it starts turning while you are on it. Then breathing. Then drifting. Then becoming a different shape underneath you — and, in the last levels, doing two of those at once. ── EVERY LEVEL IS PLAYED BEFORE IT SHIPS ── There are no hand-placed levels here and no difficulty guesswork. Each of the 500 is generated from its number, then played several thousand times by a bot built to play like a person — reaction delay, a shaky thumb, dropped inputs, only so many things watched at once. Levels that measure too easy or too brutal are re-tuned or re-dealt until they sit where the curve says they should. That is also why the game knows when you are stuck: die on the same level enough times and it will quietly offer you a shorter version of it. Take it or don't. ── BUILT FOR ONE HAND ── Portrait, one thumb, no buttons on the screen. Nothing needs two hands and nothing needs a fast one — every verb asks *when*, not *how fast*. ── AND IT IS QUIET ── No account. No sign-in. No internet needed to play. Nothing is uploaded anywhere: your progress lives on your phone and goes away when the app does. Free, with a rewarded ad if you want to continue a run or take a step back, and a single one-time purchase to remove ads entirely if you would rather not see them at all.

What's new

Thank you to everyone who wrote in, especially about level 288. Fixed: levels from 288 on that could end the moment they started, and progress that could slip backwards. New: Endless mode, a different game every time that speeds up with each point, now with wormholes. Fresh challenges in Ascent, Corridor and Radial. Tap anywhere to steer in Lane, swipe up to boost. Skip a level after ten tries. A redesigned shop where you try a look on before buying. Fewer ads: one every ten levels.
