Full description
Calval turns the effort you already put in into something you can actually spend. Set a daily calorie target, burn it, and unlock a discount code you redeem at partner restaurants. Every calorie past your target keeps building. HOW IT WORKS 1. Set your target Tell Calval your weight, height and physical activity level, and it works out a daily calorie target that is realistic for you. 2. Connect your health data Calval reads calories burned and workouts from Health Connect, so your day counts automatically. There is nothing to log by hand and no food to photograph. 3. Hit your target, earn a reward Reach your daily target and you unlock a discount code. 4. Redeem it at a partner restaurant Show your code, the restaurant scans it, and you see exactly what you saved. YOUR SAVING ACCOUNT Every calorie you burn beyond your daily target goes into your Saving Account. Once the balance is high enough, turn it into a discount code whenever you want one. Your effort keeps its value instead of disappearing at midnight. FIND SOMEWHERE TO GO Browse partner restaurants near you, filter by cuisine when you already know what you are craving, and see what is newly added or open now. LEADERBOARD Pick a public display name and join the weekly competition. Climb the ranking, see where you finished at the end of the week, and share your result. Calval is free and requires an account. Location access is optional and used only to find restaurants near you. Camera access is used to scan redemption codes. You choose which health data to share, and you can revoke it at any time from the app or from Health Connect. Privacy policy: https://calval.app/privacy-policy

What's new

Fixes background syncing on iPhone. While your phone was locked, the app could not read the saved sign-in it needs to send your activity, so the overnight update quietly did nothing and your figures were behind in the morning. That now works with the phone locked. The app also stops waking up to re-register itself when nothing has changed, which saves a little battery and data.
