If you slip • Tap "I drank" and log when it happened, how many drinks and what led to it. • The counter restarts from that time. Your best streak and total sober days still count. Reminders • Pledge and check-in reminders at the times you pick, unless you've already done them. • A notification when you reach a milestone. Privacy No account, no ads and no analytics. Your logs are private. On Android 9 and later, when Google backup and a screen lock are on, Android backs up your data with end-to-end encryption. Neither Google nor the developer can read it. An available backup restores your history on reinstall or a new phone. No screen lock means no cloud backup. Turn backup off in Android settings. Reset local data in Brightcap Settings. If you drink heavily every day, or feel shaky, sweaty or anxious until your first drink, talk to a doctor before you stop. Stopping suddenly can be dangerous. Brightcap asks about this during setup.
