Animou - Lost Pets Live

Every year in France alone, more than 90,000 pets go missing, are stolen or abandoned. A gate left open, a door that slams, a cat that does not come home at night, and everything changes. Animou exists for one simple reason: to get as many animals as possible back to their families, as fast as possible. Dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, birds and other small pets: Animou works for every animal. Animou brings together neighbors, residents and local professionals around lost and found pets. The app is 100% free, with no subscription and no hidden fees. ALERTS AT THE RIGHT TIME, IN THE RIGHT PLACE Animou automatically finds the people near a report and notifies them. Getting an Animou alert is like seeing a poster in the street, except it lands straight in your pocket. You are notified at the right time and in the right place, where you can actually help. HOW IT WORKS 1. Post a Lost, Found or Sighting listing in under a minute, with photos and location. 2. People near the area instantly get an alert on their phone. 3. You chat in real time in the messaging to arrange the reunion. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Post a Lost, Found or Sighting listing for every situation, from an escaped pet to a stray spotted in the street. • See a real-time map of pets reported around you. • Get geolocated alerts: set your watch areas (home, work, walking spots) and get notified the moment a report appears nearby. • Use smart matching: Animou compares listings by species, breed, color, location and date to suggest matches between a lost and a found pet. • Build complete animal profiles with photos, distinctive marks, microchip number and tattoo. • Chat in built-in messaging with the person who saw or took in your animal. • Stay in control with reporting, blocking and moderation tools, for a kind and safe community. • Generate a printable PDF poster with your pet's photo and details, ready to share around the neighborhood to speed up the search. PROFESSIONALS IN THE LOOP Vets, clinics, shelters, animal welfare associations, town halls and pounds are not just contacts. They also post listings, get the lost-pet reports from their area and respond to them. The whole ecosystem takes part and stays active, so the more people are mobilized, the better the odds of a reunion. A PARTNERS AREA FULL OF PERKS Animou gives its community a partners area with exclusive offers and benefits: discounts at vets and groomers, deals on insurance and food, useful services and regular new additions. Caring for a pet is expensive, so we make your life easier. WHERE WE STAND We chose not to play on fear or heartbreak. Losing a pet is hard enough.
