Nagomi Live

Nagomi matches anime fans by what they actually watch — not by a bio nobody reads. Add the shows you love, rate them, and Nagomi builds a taste profile from your list. You get matched on two axes: the titles you have in common, and the genres and tags you gravitate toward. If you both finished something obscure, that shows up as a Rare Match, because shared taste in a hidden gem says more than shared taste in a top-10 title. WHY YOUR LIST MATTERS • Your watchlist is the profile. Status, personal score and favorites all feed the match score. • Compatibility breakdown — see exactly why someone scored high: shared titles, taste similarity, activity. • Rare Match badge for the deep cuts you both love. • Verify your taste with a quiz built from real data about that specific show — characters, studio, episode count, source. The badge is a trust signal, not a gate, and it is always optional. PROFILES WORTH READING • Prompts instead of an empty bio — pick three, at least one about anime. • Featured anime shelf: your verified and standout titles up front. • Hobbies, relationship goal, education and more — every field can be hidden. • Height is optional, hideable, and never used for filtering. TALK ABOUT SOMETHING REAL • Only matches can message you. • Icebreakers pulled from what you have in common. • Emoji reactions, read receipts, typing indicators, view-once photos. • Share an anime straight into the chat and argue about it properly. MORE THAN SWIPING • Feed — posts, images, polls and nested comments, filterable by anime tag. • Communities — small member-only groups with their own tag, icon and chat. • Quizzes & leaderboard — a daily anime quiz and a weekly ranking. • Personality test — 12 archetypes across 24 questions, mapped to 72 characters. • Daily streaks and achievements for showing up. SAFETY IS NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT • 18+ only, enforced at sign-up and on the server. • Report and block from any screen in two taps or fewer, plus an unblock list you control. • Photos are automatically screened, and anything that breaks the rules is removed. • Optional selfie verification. We check that a real face is present and do not keep face data. • Your exact location never leaves the server. Other people only ever see a rounded distance. • Delete your account and all its data at any time, from inside the app. FREE AND FAIR Unlimited likes, gender filtering, the feed, joining communities and messaging your matches are all free.
