PERSONALIZED MEAL PLANS Get meal plans tailored to your food preferences, selected eating pattern, schedule, cooking time and household size. Plans are realistic, flexible and easy to adapt. Locally available seasonal ingredients are prioritized. FOOD SUITABILITY CHECK Not sure whether a food is generally suitable for people with high blood pressure? Type its name or scan it with your camera. BP FOOD assesses the food using nutritional factors relevant to high blood pressure, explains the reasons for its assessment and suggests similar alternatives with a more heart-healthy nutritional profile. SALT+ NUTRITION TRACKER Take a photo of prepared or packaged food. BP FOOD recognizes the food and its likely ingredients, uses information from official nutrient databases and estimates the amounts of salt, cholesterol and total fat already present in the recognized foods. Results include estimated nutrient amounts, indicators such as “high” or “low,” and percentages of general daily reference values. Salt that you add during cooking, preparation or at the table is not included in the estimate. Log foods to view estimated daily totals for salt, cholesterol and total fat. See how individual foods contribute to those totals and identify less obvious dietary sources. RECIPE FINDER Discover recipes based on ingredients you already have at home. Find practical meal ideas that match your food preferences and nutrition goals. Explore cuisines and meal types from around the world. FOOD DIARY Log what you eat throughout the day and view estimated nutrition information in one place. HEALTHY HABITS Earn rewards and build streaks for nutrition-related activities such as reviewing food assessments, opening recipes and recording meals. BP FOOD provides general nutrition information and meal-planning tools for educational and wellness purposes. Food recognition and nutrition results are estimates and may vary depending on the food, portion, preparation method and available database information.
