Full description
🚶‍♀️ Walk it out. Untangle your thoughts with AI. ※ StepGrid is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. It's a wellness tool for mindfulness and reflection — if you're going through something serious, please reach out to a mental health professional. On a cluttered day, take a short walk. StepGrid is a "mind walk" app: as you walk, an on-device AI helps you untangle one thought at a time, until you land on a conclusion and a next step. You don't need to keep your eyes on the screen — the AI offers choices at your walking pace, and you can listen instead of read. --- 💙 Five things that make StepGrid special 1. 🚶 A thought-clearing session Leave a one-line worry — "Not sure if I should quit my job" — and start walking. The AI offers choices first to help narrow things down. As your steps add up, the conversation naturally deepens, ending in one clear conclusion and a next step. 2. 💬 Jenny — the mind that walks with you Pick the Jenny that fits today's worry. · Quick Jenny — light and fast to respond. (2.4GB) · Thorough Jenny — slower, deeper, more considered. (3.4GB) Both think and reply entirely on your phone, with no internet needed. Your conversations never leave for any server. 3. 🎨 Mood Mosaic Finished sessions pile up into colored pieces, turning a year into one mosaic. See at a glance when your thoughts tended to tangle — and when you found clarity. 4. 🔒 A conversation you don't have to watch You can't stare at a screen while you walk. So StepGrid reads replies out loud, and you can answer by voice. If you pause mid-sentence the mic stays open — it waits until you tap "Done". Wake the phone mid-walk and you can answer right on the lock screen, without unlocking. Speech recognition runs on your device too. 5. 🛡️ Your conversations never leave your phone No sign-up, no server processing your conversations. Your worries, your words, and your steps all stay on your phone. Anonymous usage counts and crash reports are sent to improve the app, but they never include your conversations, your voice, or your step history. Because no server handles the conversation in the first place, there's no service to shut down and take your records with it. --- 🔋 Light and quiet Without heavy game engines or constant network traffic, StepGrid uses only your Android device's hardware step sensor, in the most power-efficient way. Your accumulated steps won't reset even if your phone reboots or runs out of battery. The on-device AI only needs to download a mind once, when you choose to (Wi-Fi recommended) — after that, you can talk with no internet at all. StepGrid recommends the right mind for your device. --- 🌱 StepGrid is perfect for: · Anyone who wants to untangle their thoughts lightly, on a walk. · People who want to talk to an AI safely, without sending their story to a server. · Those who want to start a mindfulness or journaling habit without pressure. · Anyone who wants a calm, uncluttered app — no ads, no account. --- 📅 Meet your past reflections again Every finished walk lands in "Past reflections". Raise a familiar worry and StepGrid says "You've explored this before" and shows what you concluded then — and it brings back reflections from a few days ago, or this time last year. When a month ends, its pieces become a single artwork you can share as an image if you want to. Today, take a short walk and untangle one thought with AI. That journey stays — in a color that's all your own. 💙

What's new

Conversations with Jenny have changed. · Turns aren't the same two lines every time now. · Say "I think I see it" and it lets you finish. · The first question no longer repeats what you said. · Stuck? The suggested replies stay on your worry. · Downloads resume, and say when a mind arrives or fails. · Delete one walk, or all of them. Backup is off. · Report a bad reply — see what gets sent first. · Evening reminder on by default, unless you walked. · Step out mid-walk and pick it up later.
