Full description
Sidrah TV turns a cheap Android TV box into a reliable prayer-times wall display for your masjid. Pair it once with a short code from your Sidrah admin, mount the box behind any screen, and it runs as a fullscreen kiosk that shows your community's live salaah information all day. What it shows on the wall: Live salaah and jamaat times, with adhan and iqamah, straight from your Sidrah timetable - not calculations, the real times you set. A next-jamaat countdown so the congregation always knows how long is left. Announcements from your masjid, shown in turn. Janazah notices when there is a janazah to announce. A "follow your masjid" QR code so people can scan the wall and keep your times in their pocket. Day and night themes, portrait or landscape, and quiet takeovers for Ramadan, Eid and prayer-in-progress. How it works: Pairing is done with the TV remote. Enter the 6-character code shown in your Sidrah admin, press Pair, and the box binds to that screen. Every later start goes straight to the wall. The display is served over the web, so your boxes stay current as Sidrah improves - no reinstalls, no visits, no store updates for content. It is built to survive real masjid conditions. It relaunches after a reboot or power cut, keeps the screen awake, rebuilds itself if the page crashes, and holds a calm branded screen while it reconnects after a wifi drop. Cached times keep showing while offline. Configuration - orientation, theme, tomorrow's times - is changed in your Sidrah admin and reaches the running display on its own. Nothing to touch at the box. Who it is for: Masaajid and community centres running a prayer-times display on an Android TV box or a generic Android media box. It is an admin tool for a wall screen, not a personal app. You do not strictly need this app. Any smart TV or Fire Stick can simply open https://display.sidrah.cloud and show the same wall. What Sidrah TV adds is kiosk resilience - boot survival, keep-awake, remote-control pairing, crash recovery and offline reconnect - for boxes you want to set once and leave running. Sidrah is community-funded. Free for Masaajid, Free for you, Forever. Learn more at https://sidrah.cloud

What's new

Sidrah TV is now delivered through Google Play to Android TV devices only. Boxes without Google Play continue to install from the pairing page at display.sidrah.cloud.
