Screens and babies — it's complicated. Most of us try to keep phones away as long as possible. But there are moments: a long flight, a doctor's waiting room, an older sibling's school run, or a night when nothing else is working at 2am. When the phone comes out anyway, Peeboo makes sure it's the safest, calmest version of that moment. Peeboo is designed for intentional, time-limited sessions — not to replace play, connection, or sleep routines, but to handle the situations where a screen is already happening. Every design decision is calibrated to infant eye development guidelines: no flashing, no neon, no blue-light overload at night, transitions slower than 400ms. If the screen is going to be on, it should at least do no harm. For daytime sessions, soft slow-moving shapes drift across a calm canvas — gentle enough for newborns, engaging enough for toddlers. At night, Peeboo switches automatically to Sleep mode: a dark warm screen paired with gapless white noise, volume-capped at safe levels for infant hearing, with a fade-out timer so you can put the phone down and walk away. Baby mode is fully locked. Your baby cannot pull down notifications, press home, or leave the app. Exit requires a 3-finger hold or tap-out. You stay in control of when the session ends. No subscription. No ads. No data collected. One app, used rarely, used well.
